The end goal of much of the technology employed by a Synesso is to produce a repeatable and consistent delivery of brew water, allowing the user to select and maintain their exact extraction parameters. The marine grade stainless steel body and frame of a Synesso is elegantly simple yet extremely functional. It is also appreciated among professional circles for its ergonomic design and clear, open workspace. For example, lever activated steam wands and brew groups (Synesso Cyncra) avoid the use of rotating knobs or press buttons — common causes of repetitive stress syndrome (RSS) amongst many baristas. Synessos also exhibit a retro-modern aesthetic, mixing high grade electronics and surfacing with a low vertical profile and exposed brew groups reminiscent of early designs.
